Things do slow down a little in the winter around Asheville, after all the weather can be a bit more challenging. But it can be a great time to see a different view of the area and take advantage of the winter discounts. Our winter rates are reduced more than 15% and the Biltmore Estate's winter tickets (see our Specials) offer big savings, complimentary Audio Tours and more access. There are still plenty of opportunities to get out and see the open mountain sides without the leaves, the Galax in its winter purple, and maybe icicles on the waterfalls. Location
If you are planning a trip to see the mountains but want easy access to the unique, lively city of Asheville then Bent Creek Lodge is the place for you. Nestled in a forested triangle between the Blue Ridge Parkway and the French Broad River just below Asheville, the lodge feels like a remote mountain get-a-way. You can hike secluded trails out your room door; within a half mile you can start your drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway, visit the North Carolina Arboretum or launch a canoe on the French Broad River to float by the Biltmore Estate . Yet it is only a short 15 minute drive to the fine restaurants, galleries, and shops in downtown Asheville, Biltmore Village plus the entrance to the Biltmore Estate.

Amenities
The Lodge itself is warm and inviting with all the comforts and amenities you would expect in a recently built inn. You can stay connected with WiFi throughout the lodge and also enjoy the romantic beauty of a flickering fire in the great room or the solitude on one of the large decks overlooking the mountains and the beautiful gardens filled with blooms, birds and butterflies. The ten distinctively decorated guest rooms are inviting with well-appointed baths, and amazingly comfortable beds.
